Temperatures generally hover around the freezing point in October, but can dip as low as -20°C/-10°F toward the end of November. Be prepared with extra layers and a good windbreaker to protect you from the harsh tundra winds.
Summers in Churchill, Manitoba, are quite pleasant, with highs generally in the upper teens Celsius (60° F) during July and August. Nighttime lows can still dip down into the single digits Celsius (40°F) so plan your wardrobe accordingly.
The Lazy Bear Lodge is closed during the cold winter months when there are only a few hours of daylight and temperatures can drop as low as -40°C!
