Paddle amongst the curious Beluga Whales up close and personal on a memorable Kayak adventure in the Churchill River.

This adventure is safe for beginners and first time kayakers. It is at low tide and focuses on spending time with the beluga whales in their natural environment. They are so friendly they like to trail behind you as you kayak.

This approximately 3 hour expedition is recommended for ages 12+ (exceptions may be made on a case by case basis). We provide all equipment including wet suits, life jackets and neoprene boots. It is best that clothing be close fitting under the wet suits. Many people choose to wear bathing suits or thermal clothing.

Kayaking is an optional expedition subject to weather conditions. Please let us know in advance if you would like to add on this adventure. It is important to confirm this optional excursion with the front desk when you check in at the lodge in Churchill.
