The itinerary below follows the six-night adventure. On the five-night adventure, guests omit the additional Churchill day, return to Winnipeg on Day 5 and depart on Day 6. Activity order may change due to weather and operating conditions.
Winnipeg
Upon arrival, make your own way to the Winnipeg hotel and check in for your pre-adventure overnight stay. The remainder of the day is yours to explore the city.

Join astronomy writer and night-sky expert Jamie Carter for a journey through the constellations that have guided and inspired people for thousands of years. Explore planets, star clusters and distant galaxies through high-performance astronomical telescopes, learn how to photograph the aurora and Milky Way, and discover the night sky through his stories and insights. Two exclusive Aurora Insights presentations, daily Space Weather Updates and informal conversations reveal the connection between our Sun and the northern lights. Hop aboard our Arctic Crawler™ and enjoy unforgettable views of the unique, breathtaking and colourful Arctic tundra and Hudson Bay coastline. Polar bear, moose, caribou, red and arctic foxes, ptarmigan and arctic hares are all possible sightings this time of year.
Experience dog mushing through the northern boreal forest and hear stories and traditions shared by a Métis dog musher.
Trek along the Hudson Bay coast to the Ithaca, a once British-flagged steamship that ran aground during an eighty-mile-an-hour storm. Don’t be surprised if you see a polar bear or two Up North and Personal™.
Weather and conditions permitting, head out on the Churchill River for a water-based Aurora Expedition, a Beluga zodiac tour, or both. Experience the Arctic night from the water, where the sky and its reflections offer a different perspective on Churchill’s northern landscape.
Gather around a warm bonfire for Indigenous-prepared bannock, hot chocolate and northern storytelling before turning your eyes skyward.
Enjoy all meals in Churchill at the Lazy Bear Café, recognized by Lonely Planet as Churchill’s Top Choice restaurant. Specialty coffees from the coffee bars at Lazy Bear Lodge are included.
